Prayer in the Parish

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4.6

We desire to be a congregation which is mature in faith and has a basis of prayer and worship which is expectant and lively.

We follow a Prayer diary which is updated regularly.

Members of the church family are strongly encouraged to form prayer triplets which meet regularly in their own homes and support the life of the church as well as being an opportunity to pray for topical and personal issues.

The three members in each group offer each other pastoral support and are in regular contact with prayer requests.

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2.42

We offer:

  • Annual Lent Groups
  • Bible Reading Notes
  • Sermon series
  • An opportunity to attend Diocesan courses
